well its that time of year again.. im back in the loops playing some shows and the snow is falling! its great living on the coast now cause its always pretty warm; wet but warm. I gotta admit im more of a summer dude than i am a snow bunny. In fact im not a bunny at all because i think that would mean im referring myself as a woman? ha ha anyways, i just wanted to say happy holidays, seasons greeting and merry christmas to everyone out there!!

often times i hear girls complain about how 'there are no more gentlemen' left in this world.. and i always get defensive because i see myself as definetly being old school.. for example today.. i was on a crowded bus downtown toronto. i had a bag and my guitar with me.. but there were two ladies behind me.. so i let them leave before me.. anyways.. thast nothing special but its just something that i was raised to do.. ladies first. again. today i was on the subway. it got crowded.. an older lady came on the train.. so i stood up. gave her my seat.. so this is why i get defensive for man kind about there being no more gentlemen.. anyways, today i saw first hand what these ladies mean.. and to be honest i almost laughed out loud.. there was a couple on the subway holding hands kinda cuddling.. but they were stuck standing because the subway was so busy.. they looked as if they were in there late to early 30's.. anyways.. a seat became avaliable right beside the dude.. instead of saving the seat and giving it to his gf.. he went over to it.. sat down.. she was then left to stand beside him .. haha it was actually really funny to me for some reason..

so back in april i moved down to vancouver from kamloops.. kamloops is one of canadas only semi desert climates.. and vancouver is right on the west coast... so the two weather patterns are very different.. kamloops is dry.. vancouver is very wet.. and well almost depressing at times cause it rains so much.. anyways, when i first moved to vancouver i hated the rain.. just hated it. but ive been on the road a lot lately and its funny how things change.. the other night in toronto it was raining.. and it was weird becuase it was the exact type of climate that vancouver would be experiencing right now.. and it actually put a smile on my face made me laugh.. its funny how you hate things.. but then when youre away from me you miss em.. to me.. feeling the rain made me happy cause i felt like i was at home! funny how that works!



and on a side note! ive met a lot of unreal people in toronto and im super happy to be here for the next month plus! Toronto rocks!

why the old guy gotta kick me?


ahah..

oh man.. heres one i just remembered.. so a while back i was in the air port in vancouver bc.. i was waiting to pick up my bags.. as i was waiting a bag was going around the turn and falling off so i put my foot out to stop it.. next thing you know.. this old man.. british guy. about 65 years old min.. came running up to me.. put his hand in a first and rubbed my nose with his closed first!! "why you kicking my bag!!" he screamed at me.. i was like "dude, i didnt kick it i stopped it from falling off" so the ran away in a huff to go get his bag which was now way away .. when he came back he body checked me.. f'n guy must have been watching some good old canadian hockey games.. anyways.. he body checks me.. kicks me in the shine and say "how does that feel.. dont kick my bag" and ran off to all his old fart buddies.. i was in total shock and to be honest i wanted to drop him.. but all i coudl think about was if i even pushed this guy airport security would be all over me.. not to mention everyone eles in the airport.. and to be honest.. i dont want to get black listed in an airport.. especially this day in age.. my only revenge was as him and all his old buddies went onto their tour bus... i smiled.. and i waved over to him and his pals as he got on the bus! ahah

so anyways.. i love my life.. weird things happen.. but man do they make for a great story!!

i just wanted to take this time to thank everyone back home and everyone on facebook etc who took the time to email me or message me or text me on my birthday yesterday!! i was kinda scared that it was going to be a lonely bday in toronto but because of all your messages i felt at home! big thanks to all the peeps at the free times cafe who sang me happy bday.. and a double wham bam big ups to NANCY silverman for singing me a bday song!! first time someone has sang a song to me.. so it was very nice!! check her out at www.nancysilverman.com! shes great!! and finally thanks to Andrew Austin (www.andrewaustin.ca), sarah, and mary for having a bday diner and drinks with me!!
anyways.. just wanted to say thanks to everyone!!

omg!! ahah so after the show in waterloo the bartender at maxwells music house (brian) tells me there is a packed club just 30feet up the street.. he however warned me of the nature of the bar.. young people, and smelly..
well, ive been to a lot of weird places in my life and it was so close i decided there was no harm in checking it out!! well i did check it out and i wasnt able to even make it far enough in the bar to pay cover because it smelt of urine and puke so badly it made me feel sick.. haha so, i think from now on i need to keep some nose plugs in my guitar case just in case..

the bar was called phils and talking to other locals i guess it has the nickname of filthys! aha

lats night was amazing.. it was really cool playin a show with andrew austin and matt humphreys in cambridge.. the reason why it was so cool was because instead of eacho of us playing a set.. we all went on stage with microphones and our guitars.. and matts piano.. and we took turns singin and playing.. and jamming.. 3 hours went by so fast.. but the best part of the night was that i got to be on stage with two other people.. who make it really easy for me to make fun of them ! aha it wasnt really a concert.. it was more like a roast of the two other boys playing.. but it was a lot of fun! thanks again to everyone who came out!

the plane ride turned out really good actually.. other then the fact that it was a red eye and by the time i landed in toronto it was 3am bc time.. which is my normal bed time.. but by the time i was out of the airport it was 730am.. so im pretty tired right now..

anyways my stomach fake settled.. but i got lucky cause i moved to a row where nobody else was sitting.. only bummer to this.. no pretty lady beside me.. and oh.. the isle was empty cause the seats didnt recline and were broken! haha

anyways, it was a bumpy flight but i made it safe and sound!

im sitting here waiting for my plane to Tdot.. and i decided to have some sushi.. now i feel sick.. and my poor tummy hurts.. hha its gonna be an awesome ride... moral of the story..
eat sushi at japanese restaurants.. not from airport terminals..

exciting times!! i need to give another shout out to RIVER CITY NISSAN out of kamloops for helping me with my new nissan versa!! and i gotta tell you.. this car rocks!! also , i gotta give my brother and sister in law dr feelgood and alley cat for popping a sirius sattelite into my new car for my bday!!! this trip i put over 4000kms on my brand new car! haha who gets an oil change on their second week of owning a brand new car? i do! anyways.. i drove for 11plus hours straight yesterday and because of the new wheels and the new radio it went by so fast.. and the trip was very enjoyable!!! finally got to sleep in my own bed last night.. but that all ends already.. flying to toronto tonight!!
thanks to everyone in calgary, edmonton, lethbridge and grande praire!! what a great trip!! see you all again in jan!!

i just wanted to take this time to thank these two awesome stations.. and a special shout out to their staff!! its crazy... ive only been to grande praire 3 times now, but that city has welcomed me with open arms .. and to be honest.. it feels like a home away from home!! anyways.. please listen to these stations and request "too much(honey honey)"

so im on the road a #$%$ load.. and its so hard to eat properly and half healthy.. but i try my best.. so often times i try and hit up a place like subway restaurant.. and just make sure i get something chicken like that isnt processed and stay away from all the mayonaise and other fatty sauces.. but one think i laugh about subway is their slogan back in the day was something like 'we make the sandwhich the way you want it' meanin.. if you want lots of tomatoes they will just load em on for no problem... i laugh now though when i go cause they have a sytem.. on my foot long sub i get 5 pickles, 6 cuckumbers, like 2 olives.. haah its so funny how cheap they are on their veggies.. but when i say.. can i have just a little bit of 'hot sauce'

they load so much much on it turns my sandwhich into soup.. then i say.. thanks.. and can i have just a litte mustard.. anyways im kinda sick of having a soup sandy from subway.. just wondering if anyon else has ever noticed this.. and what cracks me up the most.. is who the hell actually would ever want that much sauce on their sandy.. i mean if i was making a sandwhich for someone i wouldnt be doing that.. but hey.. i guess im a rock star not a sandwhich maker

man oh man!! was my mouth ever in distress last night as i opened up a colgate tube of paste instead of my crest paste that ive been using for years..

the flavors, the taste, the smell.. my body was in a wonderland. haha

anyways, thats all a lie.. i didnt realize though how different each toothpaste tasted and i was quite startled at first by the new taste.

so heres my question to you..

what type of toothpaste do you use?
