After these past few busy weeks I’ve suddenly found myself bored. Sitting at home, alone. The Hustle and bustle of the millions of Olympic Visitors are gone. The streets feel empty. In fact I feel empty, well not completely empty. I just swallowed my gum.
NO! It does not take seven years for that gum to pass through your system! If you swallowed a penny what would happen to the penny? Bing, bang boom. Give it a day or two and it’s in your poop! Same deal with your gum. NO, you shouldn’t swallow it because it’s made of rubber and your body does not actually digest it.. it just passing through your system. Down your throat, in your tummy, through your intestines and out your rear! My advice. Put your gum in the garbage.
DON’T! Put your gum under the table. Don’t put your gum on the table! And please please please don’t put your gum on your plate or on the edge of your cup! What are you saving it for? There is a reason [...]

OMG! I am proud to be CANADIAN.
Since I stated writing my weekly blog I’ve found my self looking for things to write about throughout the week. I’m always jotting down notes into my phone of funny misshapes or cool things I think might be fun to write about. The same was the case for this week...
The overwhelming energy I encountered these past two weeks in Vancouver during the Olympics has blown my mind. So I decided that this week I would take video footage of all the craziness that I have seen, of all the crowds I’ve walked through, and of all the random bursts of our national anthem “OH CANADA.” This idea changed in a solid moment in time on Sunday afternoon. Let me explain.
The streets in downtown Vancouver (especially Granville and Robson Street) have been ridiculous. Ridiculously good! With every passing day these streets got busier and busier, and the people in them got friendlier and friendlier. Buskers, artists, temporary shops [...]

VANCOUVER OLYMPICS 2010,
Im one of the lucky ones to say that they were fortunate enough to be in Vancouver during the Olympics. But i must say, thus far its been so busy and so crazy I dont remember much! Whats scary about that is that there is still another 6 days to go! Ive had a blast though and have had many many cool experiences.. Just to be one of the extra Million Plus in the city is a thrill. Walking down granville street or robson is just such a nutty experience I can't even begin to explain it.. Everyone is out and about and celebrating. Celebrating not only the olympics but it feels like people are celebrating life itself!! IF you get a chance and dont mind huge crowds of people singing, screaming, partying.. then i suggest you get downtown Vancouver as soon as possible.
I would like to take this time now to share with you my 2 most fondest memories thus far. My second most fondest memory would have to be while I was performing last Saturday at Doolins Pub right in the heart [...]

So there I am Thursday afternoon driving through the thick Vancouver Olympic Traffic. I’m on my way to get set up and ready to perform for the Olympic Torch relay Ceremony at UBC! I’m very excited as tens of thousands of people are expected to attend!
Anyways, I’m not the world’s fastest driver but I’m definitely not the worlds slowest. I was cruising down highway 99 at about 115kms (speed limit posted is 90)... im cruising along down the highway listening to Howard stern on satellite radio when zooooooooooom! This 1992 Ford Taurus comes flying past me! Who is this? Speedy Gonzolas? Nope, it’s someone’s grandmother. Speedy GRANzolas! I couldn’t believe my eyes. I mean I really couldn’t believe what I thought I just saw... So me being me I decided that I needed to catch up to granny panties to see what was happening... Perhaps my mind was playing a trick on me.
I sped up. I couldn’t catch her. I sped up even [...]

dear john,
I had the pleasure of watching you this past friday night in the theatre for a mere 50$. I'd like my money back. . I'm not actually complaining about the price it costs now to get into a theatre, because truthfully that is another blog topic in itself... However, I will state that a movie for two and some snacks is going to set you back one big red bill.. (and for all you outsiders not understanding the canadian 'monopoly' money.. a red bill is a fifty spot) You see, what i dont understand more than the price of the movie.. is why would people enjoy going to a movie when the know all the are going to do is cry.
All I've heard about for the past few weeks from a very dear friend of mine is how 'Dear John' is going to be the greatest movie ever, and how I have to go! So, opening night came and there I found myself sitting with her in what reminded me of the Jr High School Assembly I guest spoke at last week. [...]
